Denise Teipel is an actress and casting director born in Austria with Turkish and German background. Since receiving her acting diploma in 2010 she has been working in theatre and film in both Austria and Turkey. Her latest works include the feature films MACONDO and DIE MIGRANTIGEN. MACONDO was running in competition at the Berlin Film Festival 2014 while DIE MIRGANTIGEN is still in postporduction and will be in theaters next year. As a casting director she worked for directors like Ulrich Seidl and Sudabeh Mortezai among many others. Her English is excellent, among others she trained with Robert Castle and Kirk Baltz and did a workshop with The Second City in Vienna.
She is currently preparing for her role NISA in the upcoming movie FREUNDIN and performing VITA & VIRGINIA, a play about Virginia Woolf.
